Quantexa has received Morgan Stanley’s 2026 Innovation Award during the firm’s 24th annual Tech Week in Menlo Park.
Morgan Stanley has used Tech Week for more than two decades to recognize technology innovators and bring senior business and technology leaders together with technology partners. This year’s event focused on AI platforms and agentic foundations.
Quantexa was recognized for its work helping Morgan Stanley unify customer data across its global enterprise, supporting the firm’s broader Integrated Firm strategy.
The recognition places data infrastructure at the center of Morgan Stanley’s continuing efforts to develop client intelligence and AI capabilities.
Quantexa’s Entity Resolution technology processes customer and contact data across different lines of business and applies dynamic matching to identify duplicate records.
The technology operates through two complementary configurations. One automated approach is aligned with existing governance standards, while a stewardship-driven process identifies additional opportunities for consolidation and places those cases under human review.
According to Dan DeDora, Managing Director and Head of Integrated Firmwide Client Intelligence at Morgan Stanley, the platform provides a more comprehensive view of clients across the enterprise.
He said the data foundation is helping advance Morgan Stanley’s data and AI agenda and supports the firm’s objective of maintaining a unified approach to client relationships.
For a financial institution operating across multiple business lines, the ability to connect fragmented client information can be particularly relevant to relationship management, analytics and the development of AI-enabled services.
Entity Resolution is one component of Quantexa’s broader Decision Intelligence Platform.
The platform is designed to connect fragmented internal and external enterprise data and build knowledge graphs representing relationships among customers, counterparties and transactions. The resulting context is intended to support both human decision-making and AI-driven processes.
This architecture addresses an increasingly important issue for financial institutions deploying AI: models and agents require reliable context to interpret information appropriately.
Rather than allowing AI systems to operate on isolated records, Quantexa positions its platform as a context layer between an organization’s raw data and the AI models and agents that consume it.
For banks, this distinction can influence how AI systems interpret customer relationships, transactions and other interconnected financial information.
The Morgan Stanley award comes as financial institutions continue to explore AI platforms and agentic systems while maintaining governance requirements around sensitive financial information.
Vishal Marria, founder and CEO of Quantexa, said the value of AI depends on the context and trustworthiness of the data supporting it. He described Morgan Stanley’s work as part of the broader development of AI and client-intelligence capabilities.
The practical implication is that AI deployment is not solely a model-development exercise. Data quality, entity identification, relationship mapping and governance can determine the context available to AI systems before those systems generate analysis or recommendations.
That consideration is particularly relevant in financial services, where fragmented customer records can create operational complexity across business lines and jurisdictions.
Quantexa said the Morgan Stanley recognition follows several recent industry assessments of its platform.
The company said it was named a Leader in the 2026 IDC MarketScape for Decision Intelligence Platforms, a Luminary in Everest Group’s 2026 Innovation Watch for AI-powered Decision Intelligence and a leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Decision Intelligence Platforms.
These designations are cited by Quantexa as independent validation of its technology. Gartner’s standard disclaimer, however, states that its research represents the opinions of its research organization and should not be interpreted as a statement of fact or an endorsement of any vendor or product.
Quantexa was founded in 2016 and says it has more than 850 employees and tens of thousands of users globally.
Morgan Stanley’s recognition of Quantexa highlights a central requirement of enterprise AI in financial services: increasingly sophisticated models and agents still depend on the quality, connectivity and context of the underlying data.
The application of Entity Resolution and knowledge-graph technology demonstrates how financial institutions can approach fragmented customer information as an infrastructure challenge rather than treating each AI application independently. For global banks and wealth-management organizations, connected client data can become an important foundation for scaling AI while maintaining governance and human oversight.
